Mapping

So, Bob and I decided to drive across the United States and search for the big ball of yarn. Friends and family have asked us if we will write about our adventure. Well, here you are. In a hope to not bother you with unwanted emails, we've created this blog for you to check into whenever it is convenient for you. We are excited about the trip. We plan to leave September 7th.

Bob has been busy getting the car (named Bart) serviced and ready for the adventure. I've been getting the sewing projects lined up, bills paid and contacts set for our stops. Bob has planned a AAA road trip tik. He is of the belief that we must know exactly where we are going and when we'll get there. I'm more of the thought, "let's drive til we get there." Wherever "there" is. However, in order for us to visit people, we must give them some sort of time frame! So, this trip will be a balance of my "whatever" and Bob's iron clad planning. Sorta like our marriage! It will work out fine as we are 26 1/2 years into the marriage thing and it's seems to be working great.
